Sifu Pui Yee

Pui Yee’s Martial Arts journey began in 1993 when she started Wing Chun under the guidance of Sifu Morten Ibsen.

In 1997 to 1999 she moved from her hometown Odense to Copenhagen to study Wing Chun and Escrima full time in which she became a licensed instructor. Since then she was part of the instructor team as well as part of the administration of HQ Scandinavia. Later she became the manager of HQ Scandinavia.

In 2007 she travelled to Hong Kong to interview and train with different masters. Upon the meeting with Grandmaster Wan Kam Leung, Pui Yee was deeply impressed by his skills, the theory and practicability of Practical Wing Chun, that she decided to follow this system. The same year she became a closed door student of Grandmaster Wan Kam Leung, licensed instructor, instructor at HQ Hong Kong and the International Coordinator of WKL PWCI (Wan Kam Leung Practical Wing Chun International). Pui Yee has been assisting Grandmaster Wan Kam Leung on most of his overseas seminars and private classes since 2007. She is also currently head instructor at Practical Wing Chun Central, Senior instructor at the Practical Wing Chun HQ in Hong Kong and freelance instructor at Practical Wing Chun Shanghai.

Pui Yee is a Danish National, and holds Master Degree in East Asia Studies from the Copenhagen University.
